Union Meetings: Union meetings are held at McCormick Hall at 2535 Orthodox Street Philadelphia, PA 19137 on the first Tuesday night of the month at 7:00PM. The next regular meeting will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 7:00PM at the Union Hall. No meeting September. All Members are encouraged to attend. back to top |

Upgrades Please inquire about journeyman upgrade classes. The following classes are being offered: CPR & Basic First Aid (8 Hours) Class to be scheduled. OSHA 30 (30 Hours) Class to be scheduled. Scaffold User (8 Hours) Class to be scheduled. Introduction to Union Steward (4 Hours) Class to be scheduled. Ornamental Plaster - Running & Bench Molds (24 Hours) New class to be scheduled. Apprentice Graduation The Plasterers' Union Local 8 held their 51st Apprentice Graduation on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Union Hall. The following apprentices graduated to journeymen; Ronald Taylor, Thomas Baran, Emile Hattier, Robert Bickerdyke, Michael Schnepp, Greg Freeman, James Whitehead, Dennis Garvey, Michael Bauer - Winner of Wheel of Plaster Competition, William Richardson - Marshalltown Award Recipient, and Damian Matulewicz - Marshalltown Award Recipient.
